Our Process

  • Step 1: Call Larsen

You have a remodeling idea; we have the experience and resources to make it a reality! Simply call Larsen Home Improvement and our friendly office staff will schedule an appointment with an experienced salesmen. When the salesman arrives at your home or business, he will discuss the scope of work with you. As experts in the field, we guide you through the process of choosing your design and remodeling options. During the initial meeting, your salesman lets you know if your specific job requires a permit. If so, Larsen uses one of our trusted architects to handle your drawings and permit applications with the town.

  • Step 2: Written Estimate

In approximately one to two weeks, we schedule a second appointment so your salesmen can review the design drawings with you. We'll also provide a proposal of the work requested. At this point, we'll agree upon a comprehensive payment schedule, including accurate amounts. Everything is writing for your convenience and peace of mind.

  • Step 3: Signing the Contract

After any revisions to the drawings and proposal have been completed, you are now ready to sign the contract and begin your project. If a permit is required, we schedule a meeting with architect to field measure your home. Upon completion of drawings, the architect files the proper applications and submits the drawings with the local municipality.

  • Step 4: In-House Designer

Whether your job requires a permit or not, your next step would be to meet with our in- house designer. One of the unique aspects of Larsen is that we have an interior designer on staff. We help in the process of selecting your cabinetry, plumbing, and lighting fixtures, as well as your flooring and the like. Our goal is to make the entire process easy and completely customized for you.

  • Step 5: Meeting Your Supervisor

Shortly before your project begins, a scheduled meeting, called a "pre-construction meeting" or PCM, is held at your location where you sit with your salesman and onsite supervisor. Your project supervisor is your go-to member of Larsen's team that ensures your project progresses on schedule. He or she is always available to address any questions or concerns you may have.

  • Step 6: Your Project as a Whole

From the first day of the project until the last, customer satisfaction is our top priority. Our courteous and professional staff ensures a clean worksite every day. While the construction process can be a daunting and unsettling process, you can rest assured knowing that our trained and experienced supervisors and field workers are always here to help. We ensure the process is as easy, worry-free, and pleasant as possible.
